1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Abhishek RJ, trading as Ebby_Blaite, who owns and runs BudLedger. By installing or using BudLedger you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. Who can use BudLedger

You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract under Indian law. You're responsible for keeping your phone, Google account and app PIN safe.

3. What BudLedger is — and isn't

BudLedger is a tool to record and plan your own money. It is not a bank, lender, payment app, investment adviser, tax adviser or insurer, and nothing in it is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. EMIs, interest, maturity values, projections, prices and tax figures are estimates from standard formulas and public data; actual figures from your bank, lender, fund house or the tax department may differ. Please verify important numbers with them before you decide anything.

4. Your content

The entries you add are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the app for you, as described in the privacy policy. You're responsible for what you enter and for having the right to enter details about other people (for example, someone you lent money to).

5. Free trial and Premium

• New members get a 7-day free trial. No payment is taken for the trial.
• After the trial, Premium costs ₹1,499 per year. The exact amount, including any discount or coupon, is shown before you pay.
• Paid in the app (Razorpay): a one-time payment for the period you choose. It does not renew by itself; we'll remind you before it ends.
• Paid with Google Play: a subscription that renews automatically until you cancel in Play Store › Payments & subscriptions. Google Play's terms also apply.
• Premium switches on as soon as the payment is confirmed. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• We may change prices for future periods; we'll tell you before a change affects you.

6. Fair use

Please don't misuse BudLedger: no copying, decompiling, reverse-engineering, modifying, re-selling or re-publishing the app or any part of it (including with automated or AI tools); no trying to get around the membership, security or genuine-copy checks; no using it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken.

7. Ownership

BudLedger, its name, logo, Bud the robot, design and code are owned by Abhishek RJ (Ebby_Blaite) and protected by copyright and other laws. Crafted by Ebby_Blaite. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on your own devices while you follow these terms.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep BudLedger running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Features may change, be added or be removed. Keep your own export if a record is important to you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made using the app's estimates. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using BudLedger and delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms; where it's fair to do so we'll tell you first.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first — most problems are solved quickly. Any dispute that can't be settled will be decided by the courts at Erode, Tamil Nadu.
