Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your BudLedger account and data, as required by Google Play.

In the app (quickest)

1. Open BudLedger.
2. Go to Settings › Account.
3. Tap Delete my account, type delete and confirm.

Your login and every record are removed from your phone and from our cloud straight away.

Without the app

Email support@recurs.co.in from the Google account you use with BudLedger, with the subject “Delete my BudLedger account”. We'll confirm it's you and delete everything within 7 days, then reply to let you know.

What is deleted

• Your sign-in and profile.
• All your records — accounts, spends, income, loans, savings, goals, people, reminders, bill photos you attached.
• Family links, emergency details and handover settings.
• Feedback and requests you sent.

What we keep, and for how long

• Payment records (payment ID, amount, date) — up to 8 years, because tax and accounting laws require it.
• Anonymous crash reports — up to 90 days.
• Backup copies — cleared within 30 days.

Want only some data removed, not the whole account? Delete those entries in the app, or email us and tell us what to remove.
